Project #38408: Help Request - Construction
The Ransom VFW in Ransom Kansas is needing the linoleum tore up, the carpeting tore up and then the crack that goes the whole length of the building jackhammered out, put rebar in and then pour new cement. Plus fix any other cracks in the cement floor so that a layer of epoxy can be put down. The floor will need to have old glue removed, and the cement floors sanded and cleaned before the epoxy can be put down. The building is also in need of ceiling tiles removed from water damage and new ones replaced. Its going to take a machine to tear up the linoleum and carpeting and a machine to sand the cement floors down, plus at this time have no idea to the extent of cement that will need to be jackhammered up and gotten rid of. But before any of this is done will need to haul all furniture and appliances out of the building so can do the work. Adjusting dates, working on funding.
Update: 07/17/24
The product the VFW Commander and Members chose is COVAL. Coval is a concrete sealer that just requires the concrete to be polished before application. Upon completion of polishing the product will need sprayed on and “Swiffered in.” Additionally, the concrete will be left and leveling cement will be used to fix crack in hall and kitchen.
