(PART 1/4 of needs): We have an urgent and time sensitive need this week. A longtime foster dad "T" Dixon has fostered for over 30 years and has two youth placed with him in Guardianship. Unfortunately he was recently diagnosed with a degenerative Brain disease causing him to transition from being a caregiver to needing care himself. He has served so many teens faithfully in the foster care system and ODHS is not equipped to help him in this time.
We have been asked if there are any volunteers who can show-up this week sometime before he needs to be out of his rental by August 1st and help with the following tasks, we know this is a LAST MINUTE and LONG LIST, but we are really wanting to honor his time and care as he transitions:
- Load and transport belongings of child A
- Load and transport belongings of child B
- Bikes transported to East branch
- Remaining items in the home to be donated/taken to dump (multiple dressers and mattresses)
