Project #45335: Moving Services

Hello. I have a one year lease in Portland that started on March 1st 2026 and I've already paid the deposit and rent for my Portland apartment.

My only issue is that I'm trying to get to Portland from Albany OR. I'm contacting as many places that I can, hoping someone will know the solution.

I'm in a pickle because Im disabled and a domestic violence victim with a restraining order. I've already called all of the services in Linn county and they were unable to help, so I'm taking a try at Multnomah.

I have a studio apartment and I'm moving to a micro studio apartment in Portland. I contacted Allied vans for a moving quote and they weren't able to give me a quote because my apartment is way under 2000 pounds. They estimated all of my items together was barely 600 pounds. One flight of concrete stairs at my apartment in Albany and 3 flights of indoor carpeted stairs in my apartment in Portland. I live next to a parking lot. My heaviest items are my portable air conditioner, end table and mattress. I have a mattress bag with straps for the mattress.

I can't drive because of my disability. If anyone knows anyone who can help. I would appreciate it. I just want my stuff from Albany to Portland before April 4th.

I can do any date between March 10th and April 4th. I just want my stuff in my apartment in Portland, so I can relax.

Everything is already packed, zip tied and I have 4 latch straps and shrink wrap.

I would kindly appreciate any help or advice to help move me to safety. Thank you.
